Any Luck!

He is the writer, director, and director of photography for his short film Any Luck!, which he developed independently with personal funds. The film, set in Canada, focuses on the complex emotional journey of a man named Amir, grappling with the pressures of supporting his family and the isolation of his immigration experience. Following the death of his wife, Amir is left to care for his young daughter while trying to maintain a stable job. His strained relationship with his brother, Majid, adds another layer of tension as Amir struggles to balance his responsibilities as a father, employee, and immigrant. Shot with a small, dedicated crew in Toronto, Any Luck! Delicately weaves together themes of family, loss, and the immigrant experience, capturing the quiet moments of resilience and the deep sense of longing for connection. The film uses both English and Persian dialogue to reflect the dual cultural identities of its characters, and its raw, emotional portrayal of everyday struggles resonates with viewers who have experienced similar transitions.

Peace In Pain

He is the writer, director, and director of photography for his first feature film, which he funded with his personal savings and co-produced with the assistance of Abdolreza Kahani. The story takes place in Iran, but due to the denial of a film production license and his subsequent ban from working in the film industry in the country, he chose to shoot the film independently in Canada with a small crew. The film centers on a young woman with a disabled husband who must work to support their basic needs. However, because of her husband's disability, she is unable to leave him alone. To make ends meet, she rents one of her husband's friend's properties for parties, which provides them with both income and a place to live. Over time, however, she begins to feel unsafe and experiences a violation of her privacy from the surrounding men, prompting her to seek a new line of work.
